Irrigation System Installations

Thomas Irrigation, Inc. is a family owned business that started in 1993. Owner Drew Thomas, after retiring from IBM Corporation in 1993, started the business with his son Matthew. After seeing what was going on in the irrigation industry around Lake County, Indiana, Drew decided that there needed to be a change in the way irrigation companies were doing business. There were too many companies installing sprinkler systems the wrong way.

Since 1993, Thomas Irrigation, Inc. does installations differently. First, after obtaining a plot of survey, the property is marked off with a string line that shows the owners actual property. The reason this is completed is to avoid installing sprinklers on somebody else’s property, and thus avoiding a problem later. Next, after measuring off the proper distances, the sprinkler heads are installed. After complete installation, all zones are turned on and checked for coverage. Home owner is shown how to operate the controller for functions.

Main Street, Schererville, IN. 46375 for those customers who which to purchase sprinkler parts. We also offer each year an Annual Service Contract that the majority of our customers utilize.
